The CBSE conducts a common admission test (AIEEE) for the admission in the under graduate courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture in 18 NITs across the India and some other reputed Engineering Colleges.
First of all this exam is objective in nature which aim at:
- Testing the subject knowledge and conceptual strength of the student taking the exam.
-
Testing the speed as the student is required to read, understand, solve and mark the answers in approximately 2 min per question (on an average), as the paper consists of approx 90 Qs (AIEEE) to be answered in 3Hrs.
- Testing the accuracy level of the student.
Keep in mind its Accuracy + Speed = Efficiency
- The questions are of varying levels of difficulty and time consumption, there by adding to the high grade competitiveness required for the student to get selected.
- The exam is held a short while after the class XII board exams are over. So the limited time length available is an obvious and the biggest of all constraints.
